Brendo to drive Mazda MPS in Tasmanian Tarmac Challenge

PDFPrintE-mail
{mosimage} Brendo has secured a factory-backed drive in next month’s Tasmanian Tarmac Challenge.

Brendo, and co-driver Rhianon Smyth, will contest the 2WD Showroom Category of the event in a Mazda 3 MPS with the full support of Mazda Motorsport Australia.

As one of only two manufacturer teams entered in the rally, Brendo is rapt to have been offered the drive and is really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the nimble MPS.

“I’ve done a few tarmac rallies before, including this event last year, so I am fairly familiar with the roads.  Tarmac rallying is a lot different to gravel rallying and it will be great to get back out on the black stuff and see how we go,” he said.

“The MPS is a fantastic car to drive and hopefully we’ll be able to thank Mazda for their support by bringing the car home with a great result.”
