With their Heat 2 win and overall event victory at the Quit Forest Rally, round 2 of the ECB Australian Rally Championship (ARC), Brendan and Rhianon have increased their lead in championship pointscore. Standings after round 2 are:
Mazda2 drivers, Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino, have increased their lead in the 2014 ECB Australian Rally Championship (ARC) after claiming the Heat 2 victory today at the Quit Forest Rally, and taking the overall rally win.
Current ECB Australian Rally Championship leaders, Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino, have finished Heat 1 of the Quit Forest Rally in second place in the RallySchool.com.au Mazda 2, just 32.8 seconds behind Scott Pedder/Dale Moscatt (Renault Clio).
After the opening two stages of the Quit Forest Rally in Busselton tonight, just 1.1 seconds separates Brendan and Rhianon and their RallySchool.com.au Mazda2 from Scott Pedder/Dale Moscatt. Pedder brought his Renault Clio home in first place on both runs of the 2.53 kilometre tarmac stage, winning the first run by 0.9 seconds and the second by just 0.2 seconds.
In what looks set to be a battle royale this weekend, Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino have finished second to Scott Pedder/Dale Moscatt (Renault Clio) in the Power Stage of the Quit Forest Rally today.
After a positive test session and a full day of recce on the dry and rocky west Australian roads, current ECB Australian Rally Championship (ARC) leaders, Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino, are looking forward to starting the Quit Forest Rally tomorrow.
In what has been the perfect start to their Australian Rally Championship (ARC) campaign, Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino have backed up yesterday's Heat 1 win with victory in Heat 2 today. The pair, driving their RallySchool.com.au Mazda2, fought a tough battle all day at the National Capital Rally with Scott Pedder/Dale Moscatt (Renault Clio), and clinched victory by beating their rivals by 6.6 seconds on the final stage of the day.
Victorian rally driver, Brendan Reeves, has had the perfect start to the 2014 Australian Rally Championship (ARC), taking out Heat 1 honours in his RallySchool.com.au Mazda2 at the National Capital Rally. Brendan beat home his nearest rival, Steven Mackenzie (Ford Fiesta), by just over three minutes.
Brendan Reeves has sent out a message to his rivals that he means business in this year's Australian Rally Championship (ARC) with a win on today's National Capital Rally Power Stage in his RallySchool.com.au Mazda2.
