Tarmac rallysprint fun continues for Brendan

Brendan Reeves was back behind the wheel of the N Performance Hyundai i30 N again last night for the latest round of the North Shore Sporting Car Club’s Whiteline Twilight Tarmac Rallysprint series.

Entering the same road car version of the i30 N in which he contested the first two rounds, Reeves achieved his best result of the series.

The event, held at Sydney’s Eastern Creek, attracted 86 entries and after five runs of the track (the fastest three runs count), Reeves finished 13^th overall, just 0.3 seconds behind eleventh place.

With considerable changes to the track from the previous event, Reeves started cautiously on his first run, upping his pace as the night wore on.  He tried two different tyre compounds throughout the evening and said the tyres performed really well.

“Last night’s track was a lot more twisty than previous events and I think it suited the car and my driving really well,” Reeves commented.

“Once again we had a lot of fun driving the i30 N and it was great to achieve our best result of the season.”

Reeves was once again accompanied in the car by Aaron Wishart and his wife, Cass Reeves, who shared the co-driving duties.

The final round of the Whiteline Twilight Tarmac Rallysprint series will be held on March 14.
