More Rallysprint action in i30 N for Brendan

Brendan Reeves was back behind the wheel of the N Performance Hyundai i30 N at the second round of the Whiteline Twilight Tarmac Rallysprint series at Sydney’s Eastern Creek this week.


Held immediately after Australia’s round of the World Rally Championship in Coffs Harbour, the event attracted a quality field of 73 competitors.

The course for the second round had changed slightly with the chicanes more open resulting in a faster entry and quicker times, and Reeves commented that he enjoyed this course layout better.

 

For this event, the i30 N ran on 19” Pirelli Trofeo R tyres which Reeves says really suit the car.  Competition brake pads were also fitted but in all other respects the car is a standard i30 N road car.

 

The rallysprint ran in fine conditions with Reeves completing five runs of the course.  He was co-driven on the night by Aaron Wishart (3 runs) and his wife, Cass (2 runs).
