Brendan helps launch Hyundai i30 N

For the past 12 months Brendan Reeves has been working with Hyundai Australia in the development of the Hyundai i30 N which was officially launched in Australia last week.

Over the course of the year, Brendan has driven the car and given feedback on the car’s performance and handling specific to Australian road conditions.

Amongst the testing that Brendan undertook was a day at the Mount Panorama circuit at Bathurst last year and several days of testing at the Winton Raceway in Victoria.  Numerous drives of the car on open roads in rural Australia have also helped with assessments on vehicle performance under various weather conditions.

The i30 N is Hyundai’s first foray into the performance car market and Hyundai expect that Australia will be one of the largest markets for the car.  The hatch was officially launched at Winton Raceway in Victoria last week where motoring journalists from around the country were given the opportunity to drive the new car for the first time.

Brendan has loved being a part of the development process of the Hyundai i30 N.

“It’s be a very fun and rewarding experience working with Hyundai on this project,” he said. “It’s been a lot different to competitions but something I’ve always wanted to do.”
