Brendan wins Power Stage at Rally Australia

Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino have started round 5 of the ECB Australian Rally Championship (ARC), Coates Hire Rally Australia, in the best possible fashion with a win on today's Power Stage.  The win gives the pair five Championship points which puts them level with Scott Pedder/Dale Moscatt in the ARC title race.

Brendan won the qualifying run of the stage with a time of 1:49.10 and then upped the pace to record a 1:45.60.  Brendan's main championship rival, Pedder, spun on his qualifying run and failed to qualify for the final.

Rally Australia starts tomorrow when crews will tackle around 90 kilometres of stages south of Coffs Harbour.
