Brendan wins Ultimate Sportsperson award

Brendan has added more silverware to his trophy cabinet after winning two awards at last night's Loddon Shire Sports Awards. Ten categories were up for grabs with Brendan taking out the Sportsman Award and then claiming the title of Ultimate Sportsperson, which was chosen from all the category winners.

Special guest at the award ceremony in Bendigo was sportsman, media commentator and motivational speaker, Max Walker.

"It was a great honour to win the Ultimate Sportsperson Award at the first ever Loddon Shire Sports Awards," Brendan said.

"Motorsport is my passion and to be recognised by your community for doing something you love is awesome."

Brendan's achievements over the past 12 months include claiming the 2WD Championship in the Rally America Series after taking five wins from five starts, and outright wins in two of the four Australian Rally Championship events held so far this year. His next event is round 5 of the ECB Australian Rally Championship, Coates Hire Rally Australia which will be held around Coffs Harbour from September 11.
