Brendan ready for Targa Tasmania battle

Just a week after arriving back in Australia after their fantastic result at Rally de Portugal, Brendan and Rhianon will tackle their next challenge, Targa Tasmania.  The pair will drive a Mazda3 MPS for Mazda Motorsport in the gruelling five day event which is round three of the Australian Targa Championship.

This is the third consecutive year that Brendan and Rhianon have contested Targa Tasmania, and after their excellent class win last year, the pair are planning on repeating that feat.

Targa Tasmania's Prologue stage was run around the streets of George Town this afternoon. Brendan was the fastest of the Showroom class cars and is keen for the event proper to get underway on Wednesday morning.

"Prologue went well today and I can't wait for the rally to start," he said.

Brendan and Rhianon will tackle Targa Tasmania's 38 stages and over 2000 kilometres over the five days of battle, before finishing in Hobart on Sunday, April 10.
