Fantastic fightback by Brendan at Rally Portugal

With typical Aussie fighting spirit, Brendan and Rhianon have fought their back up the leaderboard at Rally Portugal to finish a fine fourth. With the disappointment of their puncture on day 1, which cost them over four minutes, behind them, the pair started the day looking to work their way back into the event.

"Yesterday was really tough," Brendan said before Saturday's opening stage. "Today we will try and make up a few places and secure some valuable championship points."
And make up a few places is exactly what the pair did - seven of them, in fact! On the day's six stages, Brendan and Rhianon clawed their way back to finish fourth in the WRC Academy - scoring 12 championship points.

Whilst the rest of the field still have four stages to complete on Sunday, the WRC Academy teams will spend the final day of Vodafone Rally de Portugal in a debrief session where they will analyse their respective performances.
