Brendo headed for Rally South Australia

Brendo and Rhianon have confirmed they will run as car zero in round four of the Australian Rally Championship, Rally South Australia in late June.  The event will serve as valuable gravel practice for their assault on the Pacific Cup which starts the following weekend in New Zealand.

Brendo will drive a right hand drive Group N Subaru supplied by Rallyschool.com.au in the event.  He and Rhianon are happy to be returning to South Australia – they love the roads, and after last year’s big accident in South Australia, they are keen to return and complete the full rally. It’s also a great opportunity to help promote Rallyschool, for whom  Brendo and Rhianon both work as driving instructors.

“I haven’t done a gravel event since the Akademos Rally in October last year,” Brendo said.  “Our two events this year have both been on tarmac, so it will be good to get some practice on the gravel before we head to New Zealand.”

“It will be a change to drive a right hand drive rally car again but I’m looking forward to it.  This is the same car that I drove as sweep car in Classic Adelaide last year so I am quite familiar with it, and I’m really excited about driving on the South Australian roads again,” he added.
