"The Mazda3 MPS handled the conditions really well," Brendo said. "It was a very challenging day and being a two wheel drive, we always knew we would be up against it. The 4WDs definitely have more grip in the wet but we were stoked to see our times at the end of the day. To be 13th outright is awesome." After travelling around 60 competitive kilometres today, tomorrow's course is slightly longer and Brendo and Rhianon are hoping for drier conditions. "The forecast says showers in the morning but fine in the afternoon, so I hope they're right!" Brendo added.
