Positive start to Rally Queensland

After tonight's Ceremonial Start, Brendo and co-driver, Glen Weston, will take to the stages tomorrow for the first of Saturday's seven stages.  Starting at car 10 on the road, Brendo is hoping today's sunny and windy conditions dry out the roads.  Heavy rain on Wednesday night made some of the stages extremely slippery, and could make the affected stages very difficult to drive if they don't dry out.

"Shakedown today was great," Brendo commented.  "We are looking forward to getting back into the car tomorrow and comparing our times to those of the other crews.  Our only focus, though, will be on staying ahead of the three other contenders for the Pirelli Star Driver award.  Our aim is to be the first home and secure our place in the Asia Pacific shoot out at Repco Rally Australia in September."
