 Brendan and Rhianon were victorious at Rally New Caledonia
In 2010, Brendan won his first international title, taking out the FIA Pacific Cup. While competing in the Pacific Cup, Brendan had some excellent results, finishing first outright in Rallye International De Nouvelle-Caledonia and third outright in Rally Whangarei (New Zealand), both rounds of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship.
Brendan also competes in a variety of tarmac events around Australia, including Targa Tasmania, where he drives a Mazda 3 MPS for Mazda Motorsport Australia. In Targa Tasmania 2010, Brendan amazed many when he drove the Mazda 3 MPS front wheel drive, to ninth outright, against Porsches, Lamborghinis, Subaru WRXs and Mitsubishi Evo’s.
Brendan’s co-driver is his older sister, Rhianon Smyth, 29. Brendan and Rhianon have been working together since September 2006 and have now competed in nearly 40 rallies together. Brendan and Rhianon’s ultimate goal is to one day compete in the World Rally Championship with a factory team.
But for now..... Brendan’s immediate goal is to travel to Europe in October/November this year to compete in the Pirelli Star Driver Shootout and win a drive for 2011.

Brendo celebrates his birthday with a win |

Brendo and Rhianon have taken a convincing victory in Rally New Caledonia, round 5 of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship, winning the event by over 5 minutes.
Starting the day's six stages with a lead of 2 minutes and 6 seconds, Brendo and Rhianon eased off the pace today to ensure outright victory and maximum points in the Pacific Cup. With light rain this morning, the roads were quite slippery, and thick red dust at times made visibility difficult, but the Reeves Racing pair were never troubled.

Brendo and Rhianon have convincingly won Rally New Caledonia, round 5 of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship, with a faultless run on today's final six stages. The pair were never challenged after taking a 2 minute and 6 second lead into today's Leg 3, despite backing off a little today to ensure victory. It was the perfect way for Brendo to celebrate his 22nd birthday today.
